There's some really great activity happening in the Whittier Square neighborhood. You may recognize this area by the Circle Cinema theater or where Swinney's Hardware store was once located. Today, Ziegler's Art and frame gallery Remains the one of the longest tenants in the area. Dilapidated housing has recently been torn down. New streetscape thing has improved the drive along Lewis Avenue. Long-standing businesses such as People's Bank remain prominent.
New multi-use buildings line the street and new apartment units are occupied by Tulsa university students. I had the privilege of visiting with one of the local business owners, Rebecca, who told me about the new coffee shop about to open in early 2015. I was on my way to get some Mexican food at the corner of Adm. Boulevard and Lewis at the new Mexican restaurant.
It is truly exciting to see the turn around this area is experiencing. It started approximately 10 years ago when city leaders and community activists Took special note of the value in historic significance of this corridor. Whittier square was Tulsa's first suburban shopping district. Today, it is becoming a hotbed for local artisans, Students, and Community activity.

"Working with eXp Realty was a pleasure. When we started, we had no idea what we wanted, but our buyer agent helps us figure out the pros and cons of all our options. Our agent went the extra mile willing to put in the extra effort to answer our questions, to make sure we were happy with our decisions, and educated about the market and local area.
